Nova Lane never considered fibre until she spent months coping with slow digestion, bloating, and discomfort for which no supplement seemed to be able to address.
“I persisted in trying short fixes,” she says. None of them, though, were long-term oriented.
Nova changed her attitude only when a friend advised concentrating on whole foods. She says, “I realised I’d been eating vegan, but not essentially balanced.” “I was lacking the foods high in fibre that feed the gut.
Starting with a base of grains or legumes, she started creating vibrant bowls from the ground up layering roasted vegetables, raw crunch, and healthy fats like tahini or avocado. E
very bowl started to celebrate digestive support as much as texture and taste.
Her body answered in a few weeks. Her gut seemed smaller, her energy more consistent. “I didn’t expect something so basic to work so brilliantly,” Nova notes.
Her bowl-making process is now among her most favourite daily activities. She notes, “It’s creative, nourishing, and it keeps me feeling grounded.”
“Sometimes healing just needs to be consistent; it does not always need to be complicated.”
