Jana Bloom’s Anti-Inflammatory Morning Routine

For Jana Bloom, mornings were once her least favourite aspect of the day. Her joints stiff, her mood slow to lift, she woke up groggily, achy, and hurried.

She says, “I thought it was just part of getting older.” She chose to try something else though, after learning about the connection between inflammation and tiredness.

Jana started with her mornings instead of diving into extreme diets or complex routines. A nice glass of lemon water.

Five silent stretches in five minutes. And a breakfast based on anti-inflammatory foods including berries, flaxseeds, oatmeal spiced with turmeric.

She says, “It wasn’t a miracle,” but after a few weeks she felt as though her body was at last breathing. Gruns Adult Super Greens Gummies – Superfood Gummy Bears with Spirulina, Chlorella & Prebiotics for Digestive Health – Adaptogens Supplement with 20 Vitamins & Minerals, Low Sugar

Her anchor turned out to be a simple routine soon. Mondays started to slow down and get more deliberate. She switched from scrolling to journaling and hurried coffee for green tea.

“It was not only what I consumed,” Jana says. “I tackled the day this way.”

Her inflammation markers are down now, and her attitude is better. “I still have packed days,” she says. I meet them from a more consistent standpoint, though. A good morning provides you with that.
